All the trails in Wharton State Forest are historically classified as roads, so we can still drive on them. I wasn't aware of any other public wheeling locations in NJ anyway, so where and how is this a big loss of access? I see it as more greatly affecting those annoying quads and dirt-bikes.
Not all the trails in Wharton are "roads" but I have been yelled at by the rangers for being on them for years. I think if you don't do anything stupid (Jerry got a ticket a couple of years back for being parked on a pine tree) they won't go out of their way to bother you.
