offset?

i want to run some 31x10.5s, im thinking about getting new wheels, just some steel rockcrawler type, but im wondering what offset is correct for what i want. they will be 15x8 wheels so that would stick the tire a half inch closer if it had stock offset rigth? so i want another 1/2 of offset or minus? basically i want the tire mostly inder the wheel well. thanks

4 ish should be right. At 3 or so you'll be sticking out farther than you'll want

Im running 4.75" backspace on my black wheels bought them through summit
racing they tuck really nice.

stock is 5.25 on a 15x7 and will work with a 31x10.50 with just a little rubbing. going to an 8 will make the outer side of the tire stick out ~1/2" farther, but not the inner side. 4 to 4.5 would probably be best. less if you're okay with trimming the fenders.

I ordered my 15x8 rock crawlers with a BS of 4.25 from 4wheelparts.com

basically you want TJ canyons or gamblers.

the stock 15x8 Jeep wheels.

what if i used a 31x 11.5? then id prolly definatley want 4? otherwise i think ill do 4.5 for the 10.5s
