Just finished installing a fuel cell and an E2000 pump in my 94 XJ but the pump will only run for a few seconds and then shut off. I don't have the fuel gauge hooked up so it it reading empty. Does the computer cut power to the pump when the gauge reads empty for pump safety reasons or do I have other issues?
