With a 10.5"-11.5" tire, I'd go with 7" wheels... 12.5"-13.5", 8" wheels.

3.75" backspace is common in many aftermarket 15x7" (and 8") wheels...

I have stock '96 ZJ rims on my '88 Comanche with 255/85/16 Truxxus tires. That is 33/10.50/16 equivalent. I have a SOA rear and 6" front lift to clear them (front is waiting for adjustable upper arms to finish the lift)

so 15x7 with 3.75 backspace and tires will not rub control arms at full lock then ?if not then thats the size ,and 33105015 will do fine with this much lift?
thanx guys always helpful

I would run 15x8's they are offset more to the outside than the 7's and if and when you decide to get a wider tire you won't have to get new wheels. I used to run 15x8's with 32/11.50 Swamper SSR's with 4.5" of lift with little or no rubbing. If they hit the lower arms, just put a washer or 2 under the limiting screws on the axle where they contact the steering knuckle.
