Squeak squeak squeak...

Hello,
I have a stock 95 XJ (4.0, 5sp). When I make tight turns to either side, I can hear a squeaking noise (Squeak squeak squeak...) that goes away when I go straight. I don't see anything obvious rubbing, and I just replaced brake rotors/pads/drums/shoes. Any idea what it could be?

My '96 does it too. I try not to crank the sheel to the stops.

That's "wheel" not "sheel".
Rum will do that to ya'

Does it change when you touch the brake pedal? If so, it might be a slightly dragging pad. If not, it might be a bad front wheel bearing. Also possibly a front axle universal joint.

What size tires/lift are you running, it could be the tires hiting the LCA's, my LTB's are so tall that they flex over and i get a nice thumping, but with street tiers it could be a squeek

Hello,
Applying the brakes does not change anything. Tires are the stock size. I am leaning towards a bad U-joint in the front axle...

My 95 does the same thing when im turning. Had it on the lift the other day and turned the wheel and spun the tire and the squeak was coming from the u-joint... my-2cents...

My old XJ did that, turned out to be the front wheel bearing.
