lift thoughts

the best lift kit in the world

seriously though:

5-6" is huge and causes many problems with control arm angles, pinion angles, stability, steering angles, and all that jazz!

what are your goals for the rig? tire size goals? terrain coverage?

oh- and general questions like this get general answers like:

I love my Rusty's Lift kit - you should get one!
I love the Rubicon Express lift kit that i bought = its the best!
No Way - Rough country rocks!

all of which have little value
try making your questions more specific and ask about specific producs and you will get better results...

lifting cherokees is so 1999 and way over-rated.

I'm actually going about 2" lower and getting 3" bigger wheels.

You can fit 35s under 5" with some Bushwhacker cutouts or trimming without the flares. You can tackle a lot with that setup and a locker or 2. Plus you'll be more stable and it'll be easier for short people to get in...My wife's 5'6" and has problems with mine with as low as it is! :D

PS: Rubicon's 5.5" lift is supposed to be pretty decent. I won't recommend short or long arm as there is no form of general consensus on NAXJA as to which works and I have no experience whatsoever with it.
