I did my dakota lift in the rear and put on the spring keepers I got at the spring shop but I hat to hammer them closed to keep them in place. I have seen ones iwth a bolt on them and that allows for more flex of the spring but don't allow them to slide side to side. Where can I get some of those and then how do they stay in one place and not slide down the spring?

1. S10 springs have the ones you guys are talking about;
2. They are riveted to the end of the lowest leaf;
3. the spring place I got my pads from said they are factory only, but he could fab a set.

I got mine from the local 4x4 shop. They are made by BDS and come 6 to a pack for around $5.

Go with a bolt on with the roller thing on top. I bought some at a local place for around $12 for four.
