It'll have 3.07 gears, unless the owner changed them.

How do you plan to use it? The MJ (Comanche) is set up with the springs under the axle, the XK is set up with the springs over the axle. To use that axle in an XJ you will be facing cutting off the existing spring perches and shock mounts, and welding on new ones.

That's not all bad, however. It is claimed that the MJ Dana 44 has thicker axle tubes than the XJ Dana 44, so for a bit of griding and welding you get a superior package.

Only thing to watch out for would be a bent tube or a bent shaft. I assume you plan to replace bearings and seals before installing it anyway, so they're not a concern.
