i installed a rusty's steering conversion on my xj and now i have death wobble. i bought it used and had no instructions and i am wondering , is the steering stabilizer supposed to mount to the drag link like the stock y design does, or is it supposed to mount to the tie rod ?

either/or. What ever gets you better clearance. Mines on the drag link now.

As to the conversion. think about some new TRE's. The dampner will only attenuate oscillations for so long before it wears out. Find the sloppy parts and replace them.
