Jeep is a stock 91 Laredo.
It's been serving me well, even though the person I bought it from foolishly put 255 70R15's on it with stock suspension, so they rub a bit.
In any event, I need to get new wheels so that they'll tuck under the fenders in the front and I can pass inspection... and I'm thinking about getting new tires when I do so.
I'm just wondering, after that, what people think my first mod should be.
My thoughts are:
Recovery points for the front.... or get a winch bumper if I can afford that.
Grab a hi-lift, as right now I often wheel alone (well, in the sense that we're a single vehicle) and I currently have no way to pull myself out if I get stuck.
But I'm also wondering how useful they really are with stock XJ bumpers.
Raise it? I'm trying to decide if I should do the new tires as 215's on stock rims... or think about raising it a couple inches first, and waiting to later on get some better 30's or somethign along those lines.
I guess what I'm asking is, what's the first thing I should focus on?
