im in the process of building a ford 8.8 and i was wondering where to get a u joint for it. im assuming that they are different sizes so i will need a u-joint to fit my driveshaft and the 8.8 flange. i have a 1990 4.0 with a 242 t-case and a d-35 rearend

Spicer makes an "adapter" u-joint that is 1310 (xj) size on one axes and 1330 size (most Ford Explorer axles, some reported as 1310 also) on the other. This will connect the jeep driveshaft to the 8.8 axle. Second option is a new bolt-on flange (spicer), bolts to the axle pinion and accepts your 1310 size u-joint. A driveshaft shop should have both.
