GA Tire laws?

Does anyone know the laws for Georgia concerning tires sticking out from the fenders? Can I go flareless in GA and not get completely screwed?

GA's D.O.T. and D.P.S. websites should have the regulations for "street legal" and inspectable. Also some municipalities are usually more strict than state.
