Towing Package Q

Hi I'm new to the boards, and this might be a stupid question, but how do I know If my 91 laredo HO has the towing package w/o taking anything apart?

Does it have a hitch? Tranny cooler?

I think my 91 has A tranny cooler, but my 89 had a hitch. Can I just go by axle tube specs I found on a jeephorizons.com forum? If so, my 91 has the Chrysler 8.25, and my 89 has the D 44. What Luck!

Get a build sheet from DaimlerChrysler. It's the only way to be certain.

There were two tow packages, The "towing package" included the tranny cooler, HD alternator, HD radiator, wiring and hitch. However, there was also a "tow prep" package that gave you the tranny cooler, radiator, alternator and wiring but no hitch. Dunno why anyone would order a vehicle that way, but it was offered as an option.
