Hey guys...
Father-in-law called with a problem on his 86 XJ 2.5L.
He can start the XJ and it'll run absolutely fine...... before it warms up, he can mash down on the accelarator and it'll run just fine. As soon as it warms up, the only way he can drive it is to just barely give it gas. As soon as he gives it a little more, it's bog down, sputter, chug, (fill in your own sound effects), etc... It almost sounds like it's be starved for gas when it warms up.
anyone have any thoughts?
