PS gearbox leaking

I just got back from an offroad rally and now my ps gearbox is leaking pretty bad. It is coming from the seal at the pitman arm. Would flying down rough backroads just cause it to leak? I also noticed that it seems to steer quick to the left and harder and slower to the right. Is there some internal parts that have gotten damaged?

your description of the failure and conditions (and my X-Ray vision) say probably so, If you want to tear into it the rebuild should run about $35

how much does a rebuilt box cost?
