Info - 91 XJ with 4.0 HO 155000 miles

I don't know if this is normal for an older jeep but recently it has been taking longer and longer to start; not just on cold mornings, sometimes up to 10 seconds to finally turn over, is the starter going out, other problem, or am I worrying about nothing?

Could be many things Fuel filter, Tune up, Weak coil, or a Weak fuel pump. With the milage engine compression could be a little low. Start cheap and work your way up.

my 92 xj with 175,000 miles was doing this. i bought it like that, drove it like that for a year, and just a couple weeks ago fixed it. fuel pump fixed the long cranking problem for me. There is a check valve in the fuel pump that fails and causes the fuel rail to lose pressure. lots of info on here about long cranking times for our beloved xj's:)
