What type of muffler?

Hi there,
first time poster here...

I'm looking at replacing my stock muffler with a 40 series flowmaster... My question is what type of muffler do I need?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I read it seems I need the center inlet, offset outlet, 2.25" version for a straight swap. Does that sound right?

Thanks for any input ahead of time.

sounds about right.

Another quick question,
do I need to worry about the case size of the flowmaster muffler? Or will all of the center inlet/offset outlet mufflers fit?

I'm basically down to deciding between a super 40 and normal 40.

That should work

I have the Deltaflow 50 series flowmaster on my rig. Love it. Not too loud, and has the perfect rumble.
GOt it from rustys offroad with the cold air intake for about 200.00 IIRC.
