broken zerk fitting?

I put new ball joints on the 44 the other day. After getting everything together to do a disc brake swap, I figured i would mock assemble everything to make sure everything fit correctly. Well i forgot to remove the upper ball joint zerk fitting and broke it off putting in the axle shaft....I didn't even get greased.

So with that said I need to get the old one out. I tried a bolt extractor but with a drill it is to long and I can't get a good bite on it. Tried tapping it out, but it broke off to deep.....What should be done with this.....Don't say remove the ball joints, please or buy a new one......
