I think I have found the cause of my death wobble - my UCA bushings at the axle are shot. I have Johnny Joints at the other ends (tomken lift) and these are the only parts that are loose on the whole suspension. So I bought some new ones and there are nubs inside that dont allow a new bolt to fit even remotely tight. I expected them to fit like a shock mount, smooth bore. My old ones the nubs are all worn down.
Does anyone use the aftermarket ones (energy susp, RE) and do these have a smooth bore or the nubs? Why the hell are there nubs in there??!! I can't get a reasonable fit at all with these new sleeves and bolts...did anyone have any luck with a better fit using a non oem new bolt, maybe something metric?
