tierod flip done (pics)

this whole thing took about 20min, very easy to do, i used a 1/4-3/4 uni-bit to open the knuckle, i have to go to a friends shop to tack weld it.

Are those the goferit inserts? Did you change your whole setup or just flip the drivers side?

yeah, it's the goferit one that just flips the driver side, but now the tierod is level.

Now you just have to find yourself a RHD drag link and do the passenger side.

Looks good!

Umm....thats what he said a RIGHT hand drive tie rod. So you can flip it over

Well, since rocks are on the ground and they have a nasty habit of smashing your steering...sooooo, by flipping your steering ABOVE the knuckles, it moves it UP and AWAY FROM the rocks!

On mine the inserts were about 1/16"th too long. So I just ground the bottem off flat with the knuckle. This way the pressure of the nut will hold the insert and the TRE tight to the knuckle.

I did this and it worked pretty well too. Now though I wish they would have had that kit out...Although having one ton TREs and .330 Tubing is pretty cool.
