87 to 94 Front end swap

I'm installing a 87 front axle (4x4) in my 94 two wheel drive, I know the brakes are different. Since I will allready have it apart to replace the ball joints, can I use the hub flange (the part that connects the ball joints to the wheel bearing hub) from the 94 and keep the 94 style brakes? 4x4 conversion in progress.

Any past experance or knowledge would be great!

You want to keep the knuckle, the unit hub, the rotor and the caliper all from the same year to ensure compatibility.
