Max tow weighton '94 XJ?

I have to tow an FSJ and trailer about 150 miles with my XJ. The FSJ alone is around 4200lbs. Think i may be taking too much on the XJ. Whats the max towable weight for a '94?

By the book, it depends. Max of 5,000 lbs. with an auto trans, 2,000 lbs. with a stick shift.

Regardless of transmission, if you do this, make sure that you have GOOD trailer brakes and take it easy.

And the 5000# rating is with a weight distribution hitch.
