Even gained 13k miles doing the mod! :laugh3:

Did it myself on my last jeep(96). Works nicely, but I fixed the odometer.

I just did this mod a few days ago. Was a very easy swap. You just need those 2 sensors and everythings good to go. I also agree that it makes a huge improvement on the looks of the interior. I have to ask though, how did you go about correcting the odometer? I had to roll mine forward by hand.

You could go one step further and spray paint the gauge bezel with silver bumper chrome like I did to give it some contrast.

Some guys opt to go for white-faced gauges but I chose the black on silver look instead.

actually them pics are not my actual gauges

i lost 100k miles doing this swap lol

my rig has 251k miles on it new guages read 180k

i like the silver i also saw some stainless cover or the carbon covering

anyone know where to get the carbon or stainless covers ?



and now i have peace of mind knowing what is going on under my hood a tad better then dummy lights

dr. dyno i had to take 3 looks at yours LOL
i saw 200 mph then i notice it is metric LOL

playing around with my old gauge

i hooked drill up to it and ran it in reverse the miles where going away but not very fast lol

You can get the stainless cluster bezels on ebay for like 9 bucks. Hellofa deal in my opinion.

well - i opted for the cheapo method - using the bezel that is there...

im a Function man... Form and looks? not my deal...
so 9 bucks that i didnt spend - hellofa deal to me...
