Steel or aluminum? I've got 4" of lift, 231 TC, 8.25 rear, but haven't measured angles yet. Other posts have said about 6*, but this seems a bit much. 4WD Diversified in Toledo offers 4* and 6* shims.

I have nearly the same setup as you and I needed 4 deg. shims.

However, I would recommend that since you can get them locally to use an angle finder and determine before you buy. Do it once and do it right.

go with steel aluminum has more of a tendency to flex and de-form a little more easy than steel.

Much appreciated. I decided to do the tc drop tonite, should help out alot, if not most of it. Then shims if needed.

between the leaf springs and axle perch... it corrects the pinion/DS angle after a lift
