Front Nose panel/grill/bumpers

I would like to know if the newer nose panels (97 or newer) fit the older style xj's. I would like to make a 92' xj look like a newer body style one. Also, if i can fit the newer style bumpers on it as well.

Yes it can be done. You will need the 97+ header panel/grille assembly, lights, etc. The easiest way to do it is to use the 97+ fenders as well. However, the conversion can be without new fenders if you can handle a little body work.

Yes it will... what's different on the old fenders is where the is that inch or so of 'slope' between the vertical fender side and the horizontal hood side. The upper corners on the header panel of the 96- are a corresponding shape. The 97+ header panel & fenders meet up more squarely. A 'little' bondo on the 96- fenders fills in the transition, or as said above, just get the 97+ fenders too.

The bumpers and end caps should fit right up, though I am unclear how they mate with the 96- style fender flares
