shifting problem

Just looking for a few suggestions here. I removed some wiring from a previously installed alarm system and now the trans will not shift on it's own. I can manualy shift it. The fuse for the trans in the engine bay, in front of the glove box is good. Fluid was just changed. Please help. I don't want to pay $85 an hour to fix this.

sounds like something got disconnected from the TPS. Especially if it didnt start doing this until you disconnected the alarm. I would check any wires or cables going to the trans before investigating further. good luck

I have checked all wiring to and from the tps. I need to know where on what wires I should have voltage or where I should have continuity.
