Removing old Bar pins

ChuckstrPT

NAXJA Member #791
So I've got a set of shocks, used from someone, they have the Bar Pins in them, and one is bent, and they are rusty. What is the easiest way to get them out?? And I'll be transfering my BPE's to these shocks. The front is no problem, all bolts. But the rear had a press in pin....How do we get that little booger out in order to reuse it??
Thanks

i don't know about re-using them, but as for removal i noticed that the JKS website has some handy step-by-step photos (basically lube 'em up, use a vice).

as soon as my new shocks arrive i'll be referring back to that site! ;)

good luck.
