This will be day run for those that want to come out and play or see some sights. The trail ins't hard but there are optional lines to take that can be fun/challenging. Some of the things to see are Bickle Camp (quite a bunch of misc junk/history), the Burro-Schmidt (as seen on California's Gold), and a bunch of mines/misc stuff.

I will be dry camping Friday night in Jawbone Canyon just up from the Ranger station most likely. Let me know if anybody else is interested in camping.

We will meet at the Jawbone Ranger station at 8:30am and leave by 9:00am.

If there is enough interest I might stay Sat night and make a morning trip to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve.

Getting ready, can't wait. I'm looking forward to going and maybe doing some exploring around also.

Directions for those coming from the south are 5 Fwy North to the 14 Highway North to Redrock Randsburg Road Right (Northeast) to Jawbone Canyon Road Left (North).

I will be camping just up the canyon Friday night. Not sure at what time I will be there just yet but I will post up when I have a better idea. Just look for the Woody on 35's.

Nah, I'm not that bad! It's more of a damn new neighbors thing, some people moved in next to my mom's place and have complained about anything they can for everybody in the neighborhood with the city. So this weekend I gotta go there and do a bunch of work to keep the city happy.

That's the price I pay for the Mustang, tool, and Jeep part storage there ;)

Wheel Saturday

Clean up Sunday

Problem solved. :sunshine:

I always do. Even Marisha did the optional waterfall/notch with her 3" and 31's. Drove it like a pro. Sorry to say Andy wasn't so lucky doing just the V-notch, but hey it's only plastic right?
