Winch Cradle

Hey- I am planning on buying a winch this month some time and I am already planning on building a winch cradle for the recievers on the frount and rear. I want to make it very beefy! My friend thinks the winch will bend the reciever stock- so I want build it with support on the bumpers to proove him wrong! Anyone have any ideas? Please attach pictures if possible!

I've been using a Warn multi-mount in front and rear receivers for almost 15 years now. Pulled numerous times from none-too-straight-ahead angles and have never had a problem. I wouldn't worry about it.

The receiver stock is way overkill when you consider the winch is held to the mount with four 3/8" bolts, for even the 'big' winches. If that's not putting some faith in shear strength....
