i dont know what it is, but i think it wuold be a pain in the ass to open the back hatch

Looks custom.
It would be easy to load and unload the tire though.

Now that i really look at it, its not as bad as i was thinking at 1st look.
It has some really nice points that most tire carriers dont have, it even protects the back fenders. The only dra back i see right now is getting things into the back b/c of it folding down

Looks like it could be a Poison Spider Customs. I know they make rear stingers for TJ's maybe it is a prototype for a XJ....

that was at the last "Toys for Tots" here in Denver. His name is John.. real nice guy.
