Does anyone know whether I have or how to tell if I have 4 wheel ABS, or just front wheel. This is what I have 2 door, 94, 4.0, 4x4, All help will be great.
Chance is slim you have it on a 94' as far as I know, look at the wheel backing, near the brake line, if you have a larger black rubber hose like feature than yes you have ABS, it will be on the front and rear. If not there, then no. You may as well cut it now, at about 6-7" Mine was looking like a bungy cord on full flex.
Well i know I have it just wondering, frt or both. That answers one of my Q. The next is how to get rid of it, without changing the entire brake sys if posssible.
Since sloppy didn't want to change the braking system, that's not an option. Disabling it with the fuse accomplishes the same thing and is replaceable if the Jeep is sold.
as far as I know, you would either have it only on the rear, or on both. I have never known of any oem's putting ABS on just the front. Nope this anwers your question.
