I am doing the Wagoneer Front and a corp 14 bolt in the rear and I was worried about width then I put dually hubs on the SRW14 now my width is 63 front and 62 and 7/8ths in the rear. The hardest part for me so far has been "Which lift" to go with or to make my own. I am making all my axle brackets and so far that has been a piece of cake. Once I decide on the lift I will finish the fron brackets.

Ford 9 out of a full size Lincoln is around 61 WtoW. Some have rear disk, but 5 0n 5. Usually, the rear caliphers are rusted up. They cost $75 each for rebuilt ones. Make sure you get the complete axles, as core cost on the calipher can be very expensive.

welp friday morning im going to pick up some full width d44 and 9" outta 76 f-150 - cost thus far into swap - 364 (tax included)

estimated cost to complete swap - $1000 remain
keepin em full width, using 4 link front end

i will make a write up when i finish the swap (could be quite a while...)

57-72 Ford F100 has a 5x5.5 28 spline big bearing 9" that measures 61" WMS to WMS. 68-72 will have the larger brakes.

Isuzu corporate 12 bolt drop-out style 6x5.5 rear NOT DANA:

'92 - '97 Trooper:
width: 61" or 63" wms with factory fender flares
axle tube diameter: 3.5"
brakes: disc w/ internal drum e-brake
ring gear diameter: 8.66"
shaft spline count: 26 spline
shaft diameter: 1.32"
available gear ratios: 4.56, 4.77, 5.38

98+ Trooper:
width: 63" wms to wms
axle tube diameter: 3.5"
brakes: disc w/ internal drum e-brake
ring gear diameter: 9.61"
shaft spline count: 23 spline
shaft diameter: 1.50"
available gear ratios: 4.30

Isuzu corporate axles have a great bang for the buck factor if you ask me.

Also Toyota Tacoma rear axles are a close match for XJ width

For the front, 1980s non-disconnect Wagoneer axles are probably your best choice in a junkyard swap scenario.

I am putting a full width Dana 60 in the rear and probably a HP 44 in the front. The 60 is out of a Dodge and is a direct bolt on for the XJ. I am going to have to weld on some pieces to the front axle to mount it.
