Well I'm going to be going to a new setup, one that is going to be beefier, as well as help with the steeing's angles. The two i really kind of narrowed it down to were the phatjeep setup ( http://www.phatjeeps.com ) and the bulletproof setup ( http://bulletproofsteering.com/steeringoption.html ). The PhatJeep setup is like $565 ( a good chunk of change ), and the bulletproof ~ $350. I would fab it all if I could, but I just don't have the know how or abilities. The Phat setup seems like it would work better though for an RE tracbar and bracket. This is going to be a daily driver, and I know most wouldn't run heims on a daily driver, but i've heard of quite a few people running them fine, with no downsides. This is going to be taken on some rough trails here in Colorado, so I do need it to hold up. Using TRE's is going to give me the same steering angles, since there is going to be pretty much no fabbing, and thats what I'm trying to avoid with the DPA I have right now. So, just wanting to know what inquiring minds think...

Dave at Phat Jeeps gets my vote, thats who I will be running. Maybe Troy aka Yellaheep will chime in; he has been running this setup for a while.............:lecture:

Joey (xjk9bar1) is also using this setup(Phat Jeeps). He and I installed it in about and hour including a tape measure alignment.Install was very easy.I'll be using this setup when the time comes, if its still available.Maybe Joey will chime in and let you know about road manners, etc.

I'll vote for the Bulletproof set up. I've had it on my XJ when it was a DD and it totally eliminated my death wobble issues. The heims that come with that set up are awesome. I ran my on the street for 2 years and when I took it off, there was still no play in the joint. I needed to put a 5" bolt in for leverage to move the ball in the socket. I've never seen the phat setup so I can't compare,I just know what works for me.

Yeah I do think I am going to go with the PhatJeep's setup. It is local as well,(an hour and a half from me), which means no $ on shipping. But it seems to be working for alot of people, so I think I'll give it a try. Now just to get the $...

You'll get some minor bumpsteer with that Phat Jeeps setup, but nothing that I'd really worry about. Personally I prefer TRE's over heims, which is one reason I like ORO's U-Turn kit better. It is more expensive though. With ORO's kit you can also adjust the steering wheel without having to loosen the steering stabilizer or rotate the entire draglink.
