Jam nuts on LCA's

Ok I got some adjustable LCA's from a guy and installed them. First they were ok but now one is clunking. I know you can get Jam nuts for these. My question is. What kind of nut has the crazy big thread that the control arms have? Doesn't seem like you could thread a nut on those. Are they special?. Thanks

It sounds to me like you have Rusty's LCAs. Check his site he has them there.

or Rubicon Express. Or Clayton's. Or Teraflex.

Best to measure and order once.

I'd be more worried about the welds failing than them limiting flex.

This is true. I guess saftey is more important. Thanks guys for all the help. I will be ordering up some jam nuts from Rustys. Now I get to take them off again. I think I got it down to a science now.
