I am putting together a bbq for fathers day (6/15/03),
a week from next Sunday. The BBQ will be at the Gorman
OHV park. We will be meeting by the 4x4 practice area
at 10am. The BBQ will be held next to that area so we
can play around at the practice area. I will be
posting more info in the next day or so. So just keep
this day open for some fun. It will be a time to talk,
meet new people, eat BBQ, etc. I kinda want to make it
like a potluck so if we can get people to bring stuff
like meat, dessert, sides, drinks, plates, silverware
and so on. You can bring your family, friends, pets,
etc. Any one interested in coming?

Mike, what is it with you and Gorman??? I can get to Calico in the same amount of time and it's more (IMO) fun.

I just decided on Gorman and it was a consensus between me and a few friends. Plus Gorman should be cooler since it has more shade and a creek. Are you coming?

Why NOT to have it in Calico

#1. 110*+
2. No Water/Creek
3. Its not a run....Its a BBQ
4. Calico Sucks if your not doing a run...Anytime of the year
5. Nothing for the Kids to play on other then the hot a$$ sand.

There are things to play on out in Calico for the kiddies... Abandoned mine shafts make a great babysitter, as well as the broken glass and rusty mine carts and tracks. Keeps the kids in line aftera good case of lockjaw from tetnus... :)
