I have done a search and have not really found any solid conclusions. What do you look for in a spark plug and wire set. Aside from compatible plugs. Like who makes good plug and wires, is plat, copper, iridium, p2, p4, i mean what is good, and why? I guess what I am asking for is spark plug and wires 101. Any help appreciated.

I personally like the Accell 8mm custom wire set where you put one end on yourself. That way you can get them just the right length. Every ready made set I have ever gotten, they make the wires at least 4 inches too long. I also get the performace spiral wound wires, not carbon wires. They are actually wire, not carbon, and give a lot stronger spark without too much electrical interference.

As for plugs, I have tried the Bosch Platinums and was not impressed. I've had the best luck with the cheapest Champions you can buy.
