recently in my 94 xj i was hearing a noise from my front end when in 4x4. i had my friend at my work who is a mechanic check itout and he said pinion bearings. i purchased a complete pinion master kit from randys ring and pinion as wella sall new u joints for axel shafts and drive shafts. and new hubs while i was at it.
we changed the bearignans all tehother parts and the sound was gone. i tested it for over a week and no noise.
now two days ago we had a snow storm. i put it in 4x4 and the same sound is back. wtf? is it in the t case? or did we do something wrong? all new bearings, new synthetic fluid, etc.
if it is the t case i will prolly just replace it instead of fix it. who makes a stock remanned or new t cases for a 94 xj np 231.
