USA XJ To Canada

Hello, I Live in B.C. Canada and i am wondering if anyone knows what happens when you buy a vehicle in the USA and then bring it into canada.
Does it just have to go through an inspection?

Also, does anyone know a good place to buy Jeeps in the states?

I've been dealing with this myself with the XJ my brother gave me. The biggest thing we weren't is that before you can bring the car out of the US into Canada, US customs has to run a 3-day check to ensure that the vehicle wasn't used in a crime at all, then they'll stamp it. Once stamp, you go to Canada Customs when you cross back into Canada.........
