putting in center console?

Any thoughts on how to put in a center console in a 88 xj that didnt originally have one? Already picked up a console and am getting ready to put it in just thought to ask here first.

Well there are some metal mounting tabs that are used to keep the console in place, one in the back that the screws in the compartment go into. Also there is the fan duct to the rear vents. Besides that, should be an easy swap.
