wil the 1991-2001 XJ AND YJ - TJ 2.5L Fit

Hello, I have a 1994 Cherokee XJ 2.5L 4x4 . I want to through in a new motor in it as this needs to go . I want to know if these years of the 2.5L will fit in with out me having to change Computers.

What about the tranny and t-case? what will fit off of what year?

For a '94, the engine out of a '91 thru '95 will fit without changing computers. Earlier was the Renix system, and '96 was the year they changed over to the ODB-II computer.

Thanks, I thought that the 4.oL engine was odb2 in 1994? So what would i have to do to put the 2000 Cherokee 2.5L in the 1994 se 4x4 model.
