UCA with JJ's

I am in the process of making my own control arms. I was going to use Johnny joints for both the LCA's (at axle end) and on the UCA's (frame end).

Has anyone done this?
Will it provide any more flex than without the JJ's on the UCA's?
Will the control arms hit the sides of the UCA buckets?

Any info appreciated.
