jeep keeps stalling????

my 96 cherokee sport is in a shop right now and there is no codes coming up and it'll run sometimes but then it can just shut down while driving and sometimes in a few seconds just start back up on it's own before I even get pulled over. can someone help

Sounds like the CPS (cranskshaft position sensor) but I don't know why it isn't throwing a code.

Definitely the CPS. Those are exactly the same symptoms I was getting from my Jeep two years ago and a new CPS cured it. I also didn't get any codes even though I would have expected code 11.
