'88 XJ Axle Question

I'm trying to determine what type of rear axle I have on my XJ(Chrysler or Dana). I jacked her up and searched for a data plate or any other markings, but couldn't find anything. My local Jeep dealers won't tell me anything (They act like I'm trying to build a XJ from the ground up, piece-by-piece).

I think if it's a 1988....then you should have one of two different axles.
Both of them are Dana's. You should have the Dana 35...or possibly the Dana 44. At least if it's original anyways.
