transfer case vent hose

the other day I noticed a hose hanging down on the pass. side of the tranny. I got underneath to find out that it was the tcase vent hose. I drove it about 50 or so miles and it didn't give me no problems while driving in 4wd. I have tranny fluid at the end of my driveway. Not much just a few drops and very little on the tranny itself. How much tranny fluid could have came out of the vent tube.

not too much should come out of the vent

for peace of mind i would drain and refill the t/c with fresh some Dex III ATF (1.5 quarts for 231)
in case you sucked up some water or snow or something

it will look like peptol bismol
