Typically... when you drop the T-Case 3/4 inch, will you have to do anything to the linkage for the tranny or t-case?

Dropped mine a full inch and have no problems with shifting no adjutment at all.

Maybe. Xj's are all a little different. For 3/4 inch you shouldn't have any problems. But you may need to do some adjusting. The only way to know is to try it.
