Another no start problem

I am trying to get a friends XJ back on the road and it *appears* to have a NSS problem. I have tried to adjust the NSS and I can't even get the reverse lights to work. I have since bypassed the NSS, swapped out the relay and checked the fuses and this thing still won't start. My XJ is an older renix system so now I am wondering if I am missing somthing on this newer system. Any ideas?

good place to start, if it doenst fix it take it back

I guess I should have been more specific.......

I am having a no crank kinda no start problem.

yup starter realay try wiring the starter buy touchin a 12+ to the starter ... if it turns over its the relay
