Finally got around to replacing the old factory units on my 01 yesterday, and installed the Monomax shocks made by KYB. I got to hand it to KYB, these are some NICE units. They handed up about one inch more of ride height, almost a like cheap lift kit, and tightened things up considerably. Nice firm ride, good control. I would highly recommend. Note: Make sure you are in shape to do bench press exercise, as these ship uncompressed, and have a STOUT gas charge. Best price/free shipping at ajusa.com. :cheers:
