My kids got me a Collector's Edition Jeep 60th Anniversary Book for my Birthday. It has a complete history of all Jeep models. The book is great and has tons of Jeep information.
One thing that particularly caught my eye was a concept XJ built in 1990 that was based on the two door model and was a CONVERTIBLE. It was called the "Freedom" and featured a power-actuated top plus a sport bar behind the front seats. It was also fitted with a decklid to the portion of the pickup bed not covered by the convertible top.
The picture looks very cool. Too bad something like that was never produced!
