Is it possible to trim the inside of Bushwackers? The inner/lower part of the fender, is it really needed?

Do you already have them? How much of the fender have you trimmed before you installed them? If I remember corectly, you can cut them and I think they will hold up, but if you hit anything they will pop off.

Yes, i have them, but not mounted. And i have not done any trimming yet.
I really dont need more space/cutting yet (running 31"s, appr. 5" lift & Rockcrawlers 3.75 bs), but just the wider flares so the cops dont f***s with me.
Thought i maybe didnt have to cut in the rear.....?

I trimmed the inner lip on my front and rear BWs. I left about an inch of the inner lip and they're still pretty sturdy.
Without removing the inner lip, my tires would flex right into it.

Sorry for the hijack...Did you order them from North Shore Offroad?
