Poly Bushing on leaf melted

Anybody ever have this happen. The Poly bushing on the rear leaf on the passenger side, were the exhuast exits, straigh melted. Anybody ever have this happen?

I can't believe it would the heat from the exhuast.

Yup...... had to cut the Z bend off my exhaust when I added a pair of extended dogleg shackles. Started to melt the poly with the exhaust stream. Solved by adding a drop tip to the exhaust pipe.

Thanks I guess I will be doing some chopping of the exhuast tonight.

i had that happen on my MJ, but I had the exhaust pointed right at it, about a foot away. it was fine for a long time, but then a long road-trip melted it.
